It is important to have relevancy, never overuse the heading tags. Google crawlers can read our articles well, so we use H1, H2 tags.

You have to optimize your page title. The page title tags must be 55 characters or 512 pixels in length and contain the target keyword. When you do some search in the search engine and you see the search result, the blue title you see in, it is called page title.
3. Meta Description Optimization:
If you optimize the meta description properly, you will get good amounts of clicks in the search results. In search results, visitors first see your meta description, read it and then they click on it and come to your website. So in meta description, you should use effective words to attract visitors. You can use long tail keywords to attract visitors. According to Google, the meta tags/description should be 158 characters or 920 pixels.
4. URL (Permalink) Optimization:
Your URL should be short, simple and meaningful. According to Google, the URL must not exceed 75 characters. Make sure your target keyword should be in your URL. If you optimize all these things, then definitely your website rank will increase in search results.
When you open a website, you see a small icon in the left side of the title in the tab, which is called favicon. Your website should have a favicon because the favicon is an icon that represents your website. It increases credibility and trust, acting as the identity of a website.
6. Keyword Research:
Before writing an article, you have to do keyword research related to the topics of your blog and choose at least 15 to 20 low competition keywords and set your goal accordingly. 8. Keyword Density:
Do not overuse the target keywords in the article. If you are writing an article of 1000 words, then the percentage of the target keyword in it should be upto 2%. Keep your article neat and clean.

There is a high probability that visitors will click on the hyperlink/anchor text and go to that interlink page, which will increase your traffic and trust flow. Due to this Google will get a positive signal, which will increase your website ranking. Link building strategies will boost your traffic.

It is important to take care of two things in Image Optimization, first is image seo and second is to reduce the size of the image.
- Image SEO – The alt tag is used in image seo, which causes the image to be indexed in Google and helps in ranking.
- Image Size – Basically the image size slows down the speed of your website and it takes time for the website to load, which will give the user a bad experience and it will negatively affect your website. You need to compress the image sizes, so that your website runs smoothly.
13. Website Optimization:
On on page seo, we have to optimize our website according to the search engine, so that search engines can easily understand what is the purpose of the website? And our website ranks on search engines and gets traffic.
14. Loading Speed:
Hosting plays the biggest role in website’s page loading speed. A good hosting is required to speed up your website. If your website’s server response time will be useless, no matter how much you optimize your website, it will not affect the speed of your website, so you should invest in a good hosting.
15. Robots Txt:
Make sure you upload your robot.txt file and mention which file you want to index and which file should not be indexed by the crawler. Robot.txt must be maintained properly; basically you control your search engine through the robot.txt file. If you do not want to index a page or folder of your website, you can put it in a robot.txt file that you do not want to index, Google crawler will not index your folder.
If you have started your website and are publishing articles in it, then you should upload the sitemap of your website to Google Search Console. Through a sitemap, you tell Google that it is our website, page, post and content, please index it.
18. Fresh and Quality Content:
Your content must be unique, high quality and easy to understand. You have to write fresh and quality content for your website and it should be relevant to your audience. Do not use difficult words. Your content should be simple and good readability. Write content that can satisfy your website visitors. Remember if you steal someone’s content (duplicate content) and put it on your website, your website will not rank.
19. Content Length:
Write content that engages more people to your website and they spend more time on your website. Keep content length at least 1000 to 2000 words. This will reduce your bounce rate and increase your page authority.
20. Responsive Design (usability):
Your website should open easily on any device, your website should be compatible with mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop. Remember, a better user experience will bring more traffic to your website.
21. Use Social Share Buttons/Icons:
Today the audience are spending more time on social media. Adding social sharing buttons to your posts is mandatory, because social media usage is increasing day by day. Hence the possibility of increasing traffic to your website through social media increases. Social sharing button helps people to share your posts on social media.
22. Alt Tags:
When Googlebot crawls a website, it can only read content, not images. Using alt tags, we can tell Google what our image is about. So, use the focus keyword (alt text) in the alt tag, so that it presents the image correctly.
Organic traffic does not come to your website unless you do on page seo optimization. You have to optimize all these above things properly, if you do all these things, then the on page seo of your website will be perfect and you will be able to rank easily on the search engine results pages.
